  • Publication number: 20240162784
Abstract: A cooling device for an electric drive train component can comprise a coolant inlet port configured to receive gaseous coolant from the electric drive train component, a coolant outlet port configured to deliver liquid coolant to the electric drive train component, a heat exchanger configured to extract heat from the gaseous coolant such that the gaseous coolant is at least partially transformed into liquid coolant, wherein the heat exchanger is fluidically connected to the coolant inlet port and the coolant outlet port such that the heat exchanger is arranged between the coolant inlet port and the coolant outlet port along a coolant flow direction, and a coolant collection channel fluidically connected to the heat exchanger and the coolant outlet port such that the coolant collection channel is arranged between the heat exchanger and the coolant outlet port along the coolant flow direction.

  • Publication number: 20220373075
Abstract: A transmission gear assembly including a housing with an axial center line, having a front wall and a circumferential wall with a breather opening. The front wall includes an annular groove in fluid communication with the breather opening and covered by a substantially circular plate having a perimeter at a first distance (r) from the axial center line and with a predetermined length (L). On each transverse side in at least the lower part, an air/oil inlet and outlet is defined by a recess of the perimeter at a distance (r3,r4) from the axial center line smaller than the first distance (r), each recess being in fluid communication with the annular groove. On each transverse side in the upper part, an air/oil inlet is formed by a recess of the perimeter at a distance (r1,r2) from the axial center line smaller than the first distance (r) and having a circumferential length (l1,l2) shorter than a circumferential length (l3,l4) of the inlet/outlets.

  • Publication number: 20220250482
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for braking a vehicle, a vehicle including a control unit configured to perform such a method and a computer program element for braking a vehicle. The method for braking a vehicle includes estimating a potential brake energy to be regenerated during a braking event, determining a threshold based on a regenerating capacity of a first axle drive unit, comparing the potential brake energy to be regenerated with the threshold, and switching a second axle drive unit to a regeneration mode for regenerating the brake energy in case the potential brake energy to be regenerated is higher than the threshold.

  • Publication number: 20210324923
Abstract: A clutch unit for a drive unit, comprising: at least one outer ring and one inner ring, wherein the rings are mounted rotatably relative to each other, the outer ring being configured to be in operative engagement with a first component of a drive unit of a vehicle and the inner ring being configured to be in operative engagement with a second component of a drive unit of a vehicle; at least one first locking element; at least one first displacement element; the at least one first locking element being movably mounted on one of the rings and being movable by the displacement element in order to engage in a corresponding recess of the other ring a rotationally fixed connection of the two rings in at least a first direction of rotation being provided.
