    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the isolation of polysaccharides, in particular for the separation of endotoxins from capsule polysaccharides of gram-negative bacteria. The polysaccharides isolated by this method are preferably used for the production of polysaccharide vaccines. The invention furthermore relates to vaccines containing polysaccharides isolated by the method described in this invention.
