  • Publication number: 20240034125
Abstract: A method for controlling a refrigeration system of a vehicle includes a circuit containing a refrigerant, a compressor, and first and second evaporators which are connected in parallel to the compressor, and a first expansion valve arranged upstream the first evaporator that regulates a pressure drop of the refrigerant before the first evaporator, and a second expansion valve arranged upstream the second evaporator that regulates a pressure drop of the refrigerant before the second evaporator, and a condenser arranged downstream the compressor between the compressor and the first and second expansion valves. The method includes controlling a total opening of the first expansion valve and the second expansion valve, based on a temperature and a pressure of the refrigerant which refrigerant temperature and refrigerant pressure are measured downstream the first and second evaporators at a position between the first and second evaporators and the compressor.

  • Publication number: 20220373221
Abstract: A door unit for an air conditioning system includes a stationary inner screen part, an outer casing part rotatable between different operational positions in relation to the inner screen part, and a flap member attached to the outer casing part. The outer casing part includes first and second inlet openings. The door unit directs a first flow of air in a first air flow channel and a second flow of air in a second air flow channel to a third air flow channel or to the third air flow channel and a fourth air flow channel. The flap member blocks the first air flow channel or the second air flow channel, wherein an internal volume of the door unit enclosed by the inner screen part and the outer casing part forms the fourth air flow channel.

  • Patent number: 11186138
Abstract: A vehicle thermal management system includes a refrigerant system, a first valve, a second valve, a third valve, a first thermally managed assembly, a second thermally managed assembly, a chiller, and a radiator, where the chiller is connected to the refrigerant system, and the chiller and the radiator respectively are arranged for cooling and/or heating the first and/or the second thermally managed assembly. In a connected mode for cooling or heating the first thermally managed assembly and the second thermally managed assembly, the first thermally managed assembly and the second thermally managed assembly are connected to each other via the first valve, the second valve, and the third valve, where the first thermally managed assembly and the second thermally managed assembly are connectable to the chiller and/or the radiator in a connected thermal control loop.
