  • Patent number: 11924337
Abstract: An aspect of the present invention is provided with a sensitive data protection code generating unit which generates a sensitive data protection code of a predetermined data length, a symmetric encryption key generating unit which generates a symmetric encryption key by using a key derivation function that takes, as input, the sensitive data protection code, a sensitive data encrypting unit which encrypts sensitive data by using the symmetric encryption key, a sensitive data protection code encrypting unit which encrypts the sensitive data protection code by using a public key provided from an sensitive data access support terminal, and a deleting unit which deletes the symmetric encryption key and the sensitive data after the encryption of the sensitive data, and deletes the sensitive data protection code after the encryption of the sensitive data protection code.

  • Publication number: 20110214055
Abstract: Systems, methods and computer-readable storage mediums encoded with instructions for providing touch-driven controls in a clinical setting are provided. Certain embodiments provide a system that includes a clinical system and a customizable structured library of functions. The structured library can include a function associated with a clinical context. The function can be associated with a user input requiring the use of a touch driven interface with multi-touch gestures. The user input can provide for immediate execution of the associated function. The structured library can be loaded onto the clinical system as a driver such that the function is made available based on the associated clinical context. Certain embodiments can include a user interface configured to allow a user to add or delete a function or modify the user input associated with a function. Certain embodiments can include a user interface that provides instruction as to using a function.

  • Publication number: 20100128049
Abstract: A method and system for visualizing monochromatic images in color hue is disclosed herewith. The method comprises: obtaining an optimal monochromatic color wavelength corresponding to an effective light level, the effective light level being identified with reference to an ambient light level and a monitor light level. The monochromatic color wavelength is converted to corresponding to a color hue and is incorporated to a gray scale map of an image to provide a colored view of the image.

  • Patent number: 6790501
Abstract: Limited-play optical medium with improved shelf stability are formed from a plurality of layers, including in sequence: (a) a first substrate layer; (b) a data layer; (c) a reflective layer; (d) a reactive layer comprising a dye having a reduced state and an oxidized state and further comprising an oxidized form of a reducing agent effective to convert the dye from the oxidized state to the reduced state, and (e) a second substrate layer. The dye in the reduced state is substantially transparent to light of wavelengths used to read the optical medium, and the dye in the oxidized state absorbs light of wavelengths used to read the optical medium. The reflective metal layer is formed from a metal or metal alloy that is not significantly oxidized by the oxidized form of the reducing agent. For example, the reflective metal layer is suitably formed from silver or gold.
