Abstract: A platform provides for interaction with customers or other classes of individuals on a group basis. The platform supports a method that includes maintaining data about groups of persons, wherein the groups include persons associated with respective requests for action. The data further includes information sufficient to contact members of the groups. The platform provides a client interface, such as a web page for use of the data about groups of persons and requests for action. Using the client interface, users find and become members of groups. The platform also provides a business user interface, such as a web page, for use of the data about groups and about requests for action, by which business users monitor activity of groups and communicate with the groups. The client interface includes tools for browsing a set of requests for action, selecting a particular request, and joining a group of persons associated with the particular request.

Abstract: Dental resins and dental compositions utilizing such resins are described. The dental compositions are particularly useful as cavity liners and root canal sealants which contain calcium hydroxide (or calcium oxide) and which are utilized to deliver calcium to exposed dental pulp. The resins, and resin-containing compounds, include eutectic mixtures of polyfunctional salicylates. In particular, the transesterification of a blend of trimethylolpropane and neopentylglycol with methyl salicylate yields a blend of trimethylolpropanetrisalicylate and neopentylglycoldisalicylate, which is contemplated by the present invention.

Abstract: This invention discloses an improved dental pulp capping and cavity lining composition which is successful in capping and preserving the vitality of moderately inflammed, as well as normal, healthy dental pulps and also serves as an acid resistant, protective cavity liner. This composition is prepared by reacting suitable phenolic derivatives with formaldehyde or its polymer, under carefully controlled conditions, to form a low molecular weight polymer condensate, which is first purified and then compounded into a two-paste composition of optimized utility. In use, one paste portion, containing the condensate, reacts with the other paste portion, containing calcium hydroxide, to yield after mixing a solid protective layer of set material, which facilitates healing of the pulp and formation of secondary dentin.
