Abstract: The present invention relates to a vitamin supplement containing from 5% to 1000% of the RDA of vitamins and a therapeutically effective amount of a vascular occlusion inhibiting compound which is preferably aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid). The vitamins are selected from vitamins A, D; E, K, C, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, niacinamide, B.sub.6, folate, B.sub.12, biotin, pantothenic acid and mixtures thereof. The composition can be in capsule or tablet form, may further contain minerals, herbal extracts, homeopathics or other therapeutic substances, and finds particular utility with regard to cardiac care patients.
