  • Patent number: 6626118
Abstract: A car body 1 provided in particular for railway vehicles has two longitudinal roof beams 2 that support a roof closing plate 6 fastened to them in an air-tight and water-tight manner. Transverse roof arches 3 connect the longitudinal roof beams 2. To achieve a simplified structure, the transverse roof arches 3 are located above the roof closing plate 6, whereby auxiliary units 13 are installed on roof arches 3.

  • Patent number: 6224144
Abstract: On a car body with a car body framework 1, for ease of assembly and effective utilization of space, in the vicinity of the side wall structure of each body framework field 7, a partial side wall element 8 is inserted that projects into the space between the corresponding frames 6.

  • Patent number: 6070369
Abstract: In a person transport vehicle, a roof structure is fixed on longitudinal sidewalls (1). In order to achieve a simple but highly functional structure, a longitudinal beam (3) for the roof is fixed to the area of the top side edges of each longitudinal side wall (1) and is provided with an at least approximately horizontal leg. The horizontal legs extend toward each other and carry in a weld-free and watertight manner an inherently stable roof plate (5) provided with integrated longitudinal channels (6, 7).

  • Patent number: 5471935
Abstract: A diagonally movable linking platform forming part of a bridge between two vehicles. The linking platform is supported by the vehicles. The linking platform has two parallel extending supports for pivotally receiving the cross-beams. The supports each have a pair of guide and support rollers. The guide and support rollers are received by guide and support elements arranged on the vehicles.

  • Patent number: 5261330
Abstract: A drop-frame urban rapid transit car includes passenger cells and travelling mechanism parts having a running gear, which are connected to one another at end surfaces by joint parts. The travelling mechanism parts disposed at ends of the car receive an engineer's cab. The object of the invention was to develop the drop-frame urban rapid transit car in a way which ensured the best possible utilization of the enveloping space and the best possible utilization of the available base area, a concept which makes it possible to construct a vehicle meeting the requirements of a modern urban rapid transit car, and at the same time with the most advantageous utilization of the necessary production devices, a minimum of different structural parts and a simple assembly.
