Abstract: A method for requesting proof of delegation for delivery of content to a client terminal via an encrypted connection. The content is referenced on a content server, to which the client terminal emitted a request to obtain the content. The content server has delegated the delivery of the content to a primary delivery server. The method is implemented by a secondary delivery server, to which the primary delivery server has delegated the delivery of the content. The method includes: receiving a request to establish an encrypted connection, from the client terminal, including an identifier of the content server; emitting a request for proof of delegation of delivery, addressed to the content server; receiving of a message from the content server, including an encryption key; emitting a response for establishing an encrypted connection, addressed to the client terminal; and establishing the encrypted connection with the client terminal using the encryption key.

Abstract: Methods for validating delivery of content and verifying a delegation of delivery of a content, and corresponding devices and computer program products. A method is proposed for validating a delivery of a content to a client terminal. Such a method includes receiving, by the client terminal, an address, referred to as the received address, in response to a request sent to an address server in order to obtain an address of a delivery server of the content. The request includes a piece of information relating to the delivery server. Such a method further includes receiving, by the client terminal, a piece of information relating to an authentic address associated with the delivery server, the information being sent by a server of the content supplier, and determining the validity of the received address with respect to the authentic address on the basis of the information relating to the authentic address.

Abstract: A method for signaling a piece of congestion information regarding a first data stream routed by a first node in a network. The method includes the following acts implemented by a second node via which the first data stream and at least a second data stream are routed: obtaining a piece of congestion information regarding the second data stream, the congestion information indicating that a third node, via which the first data stream is routed, has detected a congestion situation for a routing of the second stream in a data transfer plane; checking that the first data stream has a priority level lower than that of the second data stream; and sending, to the first node, a control message in a control plane, the control message carrying the congestion information.

Abstract: One embodiment relates to a method for obtaining, in a communication network, a routing policy indicating rules for routing requests emitted by a software module running on a client device. The method comprises sending, by the client device, a connection request to an authentication server of the communication network in order to attach the client device to the communications network- and receiving, by the client device, a connection context response from the authentication server. The context comprises an identifier of a system for managing routing rules. The software module obtains the routing policy in accordance with at least one first rule for routing to a proxy system certified by the operator of the communications network obtained by means of the identifier.

Abstract: A method is provided for managing notifications between a user agent installed in a mobile terminal and a web server. The method includes the following acts, carried out by an intermediate piece of equipment: receiving a notification message from the mobile terminal in accordance with a first protocol designed for transmission over a signaling channel, the notification message including notification data from the user agent; generating a notification message in accordance with a second protocol designed for transmission over the Internet network, in which the notification data is inserted; and transmitting to the web server, of the notification message in accordance with the second protocol. Also provided are an intermediate piece of equipment implementing these acts, as well as a method for sending a notification message and a mobile terminal implementing such a sending method.

Abstract: A method, a device and a program are provided for processing data. The method is implemented within an intermediary module. The data is transmitted between a customer module and a server module connected through a communications network. The method includes: receiving, from one among the customer and server modules, an intermediation request identifying an operation of intermediation to be performed relative to a stream of encrypted data exchanged between the customer module and the server module; and processing relative to said encrypted data as a function of said operation of intermediation.

Abstract: A method and a device are provided for managing, in a receiving entity, data packets received from a transport layer connection established with a transmitting entity. The connection includes at least one stream in connected mode and at least one stream in non-connected mode. The management method includes transmitting, by the receiving entity, a so-called return message, relating to at least one data packet from one of the two streams in connected mode or in non-connected mode of the connection, the return message being transmitted to the transmitting entity on the other stream of the connection.

Abstract: One embodiment relates to a method for obtaining, in a communication network, a routing policy indicating rules for routing requests emitted by a software module running on a client device. Abstract: A method for caching a piece of content in a content distribution network of a first network, a browser module running on a user terminal and allowing access to content by using encrypted sessions, the browser module being associated with a proxy server of a second network interconnected with the first network, the proxy server controlling a current session status between the browser module and a content provider. The method includes: the browser module sending a request relating to the content to the content provider; the proxy server obtaining a piece of information relating to the request; the browser module receiving the requested content; and the proxy server commanding the browser module to cache the content in the content distribution network.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling service request routing, said method including the following steps and being implemented by a server providing said service: receiving the service request; verifying that the request was received from a proxy server in charge of controlling requests for said service; and, when said request has not been received from a proxy server in charge of controlling requests for said service, transmitting said service request to at least one proxy server in charge of controlling requests for said service.

Equipment exchanges management data in the form of data structures indicated by patterns each corresponding to a respective referenced object and being assigned a respective identifier. In order to manage a given object, the device and the equipment store synchronization information associating the reference of the given object and the corresponding pattern identifier. In order to manage a given object, the equipment sends the corresponding pattern assigned the respective identifier and a data ticket which has a structure indicated by said pattern and is assigned said identifier. The device translates the pattern into the respective referenced object as a function of the identifier of said pattern and the synchronization information, and then stores the data from the received ticket in the management database.

Abstract: A method is provided for supervising a plurality of units in a communications network. The method includes a step of a first supervisor device receiving from a plurality of units information notifications having a plurality of information fields. For each information notification received, at least one imprint is generated, which includes codes extracted from predetermined fields of the notification. The method further includes counting the number of occurrences of at least one imprint, and notifying at least one master supervisor device of at least one imprint and the number of occurrences counted for that imprint.

Abstract: A method of distributing applications in a first network destined for user terminals is provided. The method includes downloading an application to a user terminal via a first download server associated with the first network, the downloaded application being stored in an entity within a second network interconnected with the first network. Prior to downloading, the method includes: sending, from the first download server, a message containing rules relating to applications likely to be downloaded by the first download server, to a central control server; receiving, by a second download server associated with the second network, a download request sent from the first download server; sending, by the second download server, a response message to the first download server, the response message including data allowing downloading; and transmitting a message containing information relating to the downloading of the application, from the second download server to the central control server.

Abstract: In order to minimize a bandwidth required for the transfers of communication network administration information, said information relating to objects pertaining to hardware, software or network operation elements, catalogued in an administration information base (11) and with each of which is associated a formal language specification, the system comprises a translator module (10). The module (10) is designed to generate on the basis of the specification for each object, a pair of words the value of whose first word pertains to an indication of the object and the value of whose second word pertains to an information length of the object. The module (10) is also designed to generate one or more templates comprising an ordered set of pairs of words and an identifier, making it possible to subsequently send an ordered string of information corresponding to each template.

Abstract: A technique is provided for delivering content to a user. The user sends at least one quality indicator to a first content-delivery device, referred to as a secondary device. The indicator relates to delivery of a portion of the content by a second content-delivery device, referred to as a primary device. When the secondary device detects an event that might affect the delivery of the content by the primary device to the user, on the basis at least of the quality indicators relating to at least a delivery of content by the primary device, it commands the user to transfer from the primary device to the secondary device in order to enable the secondary device to deliver portions of the content that have not been delivered by the primary device.

Abstract: A data packet transmission network comprises a stream of packets of data sent by a first terminal passes in transit through at least one network equipment with which there is associated a stream measurement unit; wherein the first terminal and the measurement unit are connected to a collection unit. The measurement method comprising the following steps: the first terminal sends a specific stream of packets, each having a different determined size, the sizes being such that in a set of r packets, r being a positive integer less than or equal to the number of packets of the stream, there are not any two subsets of the set of r packets comprising the same number of packets and having the same cumulative total size; the measurement unit analyzes at least one packet and at most r packets of the stream passing in transit through the network equipment.

Abstract: A method for collection of flow descriptions for flows relating to at least one client network, the client network being attached to an interconnection network. The method receives flow descriptions for flows coming from the client network, aggregates the flow descriptions for the flows coming from the client network as a function of an aggregation criterion, transmits the aggregated flow descriptions to a collection device, analyzes the flow descriptions for the flows coming from the client network to determine at least one flow characteristic specific to the client network, receives flow descriptions for flows coming from the interconnection network, filters the flow descriptions for the flows coming from the interconnection network, in which the flow descriptions for flows lacking the at least one determined flow characteristic specific to the client network are eliminated, and transmits the filtered flow descriptions to the collection equipment.
