    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for predicting the survival time of a patient suffering from a solid cancer comprising i) determining in a tissue sample obtained from the patient the gene expression level of FcRn ii) comparing expression level determined at step i) with their predetermined reference value and iii) providing a good prognosis when expression level determined at step i) is higher than their predetermined reference value, or providing a bad prognosis when expression levels determined at step i) are lower than their predetermined reference values.
