  • Patent number: 9912902
Abstract: Systems and techniques for an automatic event recorder are described herein. An input stream may be written to a memory buffer in an overwrite mode. The input stream may be received from a sensor array of a wearable device. A first portion of the input stream written to the memory buffer may be protected upon obtaining an indication of occurrence of a start event. The memory buffer may be configured to receive a second portion of the input stream in a write mode subsequent to the occurrence of the start event. The memory buffer may be reconfigured to receive a third portion of the input stream in the overwrite mode upon obtaining an indication of the occurrence of the stop event.

  • Publication number: 20170287217
Abstract: Various systems and methods for providing alerts of preceding traffic are described herein. A system for providing alerts of preceding traffic comprising a processor installed on a trailing vehicle operated by a user, the processor to: receive image data from a camera and identify a preceding vehicle in front of the trailing vehicle; receive data from a distance sensor to detect a change in relative velocity between the preceding vehicle and the trailing vehicle that exceeds a threshold; and cause an augmented reality content to be displayed in a head-mounted display worn by the user, the augmented reality content to alert the user of the change in relative velocity.

  • Publication number: 20170277257
Abstract: Various systems and methods for implementing gaze-based sound selection are described herein. A system for gaze-based sound selection, the system includes a gaze detection circuit to determine a gaze direction of a user, the gaze direction being toward an object; an audio capture mechanism to obtain audio data from the object, the audio capture mechanism selectively configured based on the gaze direction; an audio transformation circuit to transform the audio data to an output data; and a presentation mechanism to present the output data to the user.
