  • Patent number: 11263437
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for extracting a feature vector from an input image representative of an iris by means of a neural network, characterized in that it can be trained end-to-end and comprises the implementation by data-processing means of a client of steps of: (a) Segmentation of the input image representative of the iris by means of a first subnetwork in order to obtain an iris segmentation map, a pupil segmentation map and an attention map; (b) Extraction by a second subnetwork of the neural network of a feature vector from the normalized image representative of the iris segmented by a normalization operation, characterized in that it is derivable.

  • Patent number: 10990817
Abstract: A method of detecting fraud during identification by iris recognition, the method comprising the following steps: capturing an image of each eye of a person for identification (50), namely a first image (61) and a second image (71); extracting a first set of first characteristics from the first image (61); extracting a second set of second characteristics from the second image (71); evaluating a correlation coefficient between the first and second characteristics; and as a function of the value of the correlation coefficient, signaling an attempt at fraud or continuing with identification by eye recognition. An identification terminal arranged to perform the method.

  • Patent number: 10599925
Abstract: A method of detecting attempted fraud against a system recognising the iris of the human eye includes generation of a first image of an iris using first means of image capture in a visible light spectrum, and generation of a second image of said iris using second means of image capture in a near infra-red spectrum. The method also includes determination of at least one characteristic of the first image as a function of respective optical characteristics of pixels of a plurality of pixels of this first image and determination of at least one characteristic of the second image determined as a function of respective luminous intensities of pixels of a plurality of pixels of this second image. As a function of these determined characteristics, a signal representative of suspected detection of attempted fraud is generated.

  • Patent number: 10078782
Abstract: A method for identifying and/or authenticating an individual by a system including a storage device storing at least one binary code of a reference iris and a binary code of an associated reference mask: acquisition of an image of an eye of the individual, segmentation of the acquired image to isolate a region containing the texture of the iris and determine an associated mask, division of the region and the mask into N2 concentric rings, normalization of the region, determination of a binary iris code IC and a binary code of mask IM matching at least one ring of the iris with a ring of the reference iris to minimize a matching distance between the acquired image and the reference image, computation of the minimized matching distance, identification and/or authentication of the individual if the minimized matching distance is less than a predetermined threshold.
