    Abstract: Catheter tube capable of irradiating laser optimized in light radiation efficiency and distribution, used in photosensitization reaction treatment is provided by simple process. The tubes being formed of material optically having transparency, provided with insertion hole for light diffusing body, and one or more other holes different from the insertion hole, in a manner extending in longitudinal direction of catheter tubes. Inside the other holes, space is present adjacent to inner wall thereof, the inner wall forming optical interface between the material and gas phase or liquid phase in the space, which are different from each other in refractive index, to conjointly form reflection surface for adjusting radiation distribution of light emitted by light diffusing body.

    Abstract: A light-emitting probe mounting kit that can easily be combined with and externally mounted to a medical device that is selected by an operator. The light-emitting probe mounting kit for a medical device is provided with: a light transmission section that transmits light from a light source; a light-emitting probe that is connected to the light transmission section and that emits the light that is transmitted by the light transmission section; and externally mounting sections that are for externally mounting the light-emitting probe to an outer portion of a medical device that is inserted and used within a living body. The externally mounting sections comprise a heat-shrinkable tube having a space into which the medical device can be inserted prior to heat shrinkage. The heat-shrinkable tubes are fixed to the light-emitting probe.
