Abstract: A method for identifying video clips for inclusion in a targeted communication is disclosed. In one embodiment, such a method includes receiving video footage comprising multiple clips. The method receives multiple information streams that are associated with the video footage and synchronizes the information streams with the video footage. The method applies weights to the information streams, aggregates the weighted information streams, and identifies peaks therein. Clips are then selected from the video footage that correspond to the peaks for inclusion in a targeted communication. The method analyzes metrics from the targeted communication to provide feedback in order to optimize the weights. In certain embodiments, optimizing the weights leads to selecting different clips for inclusion in the targeted communication. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed.

Abstract: Technology for password entry security that monitors a text entry field that is not an appropriate text entry field for password entry, and, on condition that a user enters a first portion of a designated user password into the text entry field, then machine logic deletes and/or obscures at least the first portion of the password from the text entry field so that it cannot be espied or intercepted by unauthorized parties. IN some embodiments, an integer number N is designated to determine how many characters must be in the first portion entered by the user before the password text is deleted or obscured.

Abstract: Concepts for populating a data entry field with data are proposed. Specifically, by identifying a context of a data entry field of a target application and analyzing a dataset from source applications based on the identified context, the data entry field may be automatically populated with relevant data. In this way, data from source applications may be transferred to data entry fields of a target application without the need for a user to memorize (or otherwise manually transfer) the data. Accordingly, this decreases time consumed and frustration of the user, while reducing the rate of copying errors.

Abstract: A collaborative development project having a plurality of contributors is provided. A first contributor of the plurality of contributors as an influencer of the collaborative development project. Contributions of the influencer to a sample project are analyzed to determine a development characteristic of the influencer. One or more development rules are then generated based on the determined development characteristic of the influencer. Further, a second contributor of the plurality of contributors may be identified as a follower of the development project. Identified contributions of the follower may then be modified based on the obtained one or more development rules.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for processing comments provided to a live chat stream. By way of example, embodiments obviate or mitigate problems associated with conventional live chat streams by assessing semantic uniqueness of collections of comments in a live chat stream and then determining a final importance score for each collection based on its semantic-uniqueness and activity score. The display of each collection can then be controlled based on its final importance score.

A processor may collect a plurality of copied data elements into a clipboard manager. The processor may compare, in response to a paste function being initialized into an input field of a plurality of input fields, the copied data elements and associated metadata with contextual data associated with the plurality of input fields. The processor may calculate, based on the comparing, a data environment confidence value and an individual confidence value for each copied data element with respect to a level of matching the contextual data associated with the input fields. The processor may generate, based on the calculating, an overall confidence value for the copied data elements. The processor may compare the overall confidence value of the copied data elements to a set of confidence thresholds associated with completing the paste function.

One such embodiment comprises determining if the contributor of a newly provided contribution to program code of the collaborative software development project is a primary contributor. If it is determined that the contributor is the primary contributor, the program code of the collaborative software development project is analyzed to determine one or more software development rules. One example includes analyzing the visual and/or audio content of the instructional video to identify instances of indicative behavior of the instructor, an instance of indicative behavior being identified based on the presence of at least one of a set of predetermined behavioral patterns of the instructor in the visual and/or audio content of the instructional video. A scene in the instructional video is then detected based on the identified instances of indicative behavior of the instructor.
