  • Patent number: 12318531
Abstract: A passive milk collection device for storing milk comprises a flexible inner member including a nipple hole for receiving a nipple, and in which, in use, part of the rear surface of the inner member is configured to securely seal onto a user's breast. The device includes a removable rigid outer member configured to attach onto the front surface of the inner member and to provide a free air space around the nipple area for storing milk from the nipple. The circumference of the outer edge of the rear surface of the flexible inner member is substantially larger than the circumference of the rigid outer member.

  • Publication number: 20240424023
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of engineering a cell, comprising the steps of introducing into the cell: i) a site-directed nuclease which is capable of cleaving a target nucleotide sequence at the 3?-end of Intron 1 of a Cytotoxic T-Lymphocyte Associated Protein 4 gene (CTLA4); and ii) a nucleic acid construct which comprises a nucleic acid sequence comprising one or more of exon 2, exon 3 and exon 4 of CTLA4, or a sequence with at least 70% identity to exon 2, exon 3 and/or exon 4 of the CTLA4 gene, and 5?- and 3?-homology arms, wherein each of the 5? and '3 homology arms is essentially complementary to a sequence flanking the target nucleotide sequence at the 3?-end of Intron 1 of CTLA4.

  • Publication number: 20230226182
Abstract: A vector comprising a first polynucleotide encoding a FOXP3 polypeptide and a second polynucleotide encoding a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR), wherein the CAR comprises an antigen recognition domain which specifically binds to a human leukocyte antigen (HLA), wherein the first polynucleotide and the second polynucleotide are operably linked to the same promoter, and wherein the first polynucleotide is upstream of the second polynucleotide.
