  • Patent number: 7665808
Abstract: A method and a device for automatically releasing an automatic parking brake at start-up. A transmitted torque estimation threshold value is determined that enables the vehicle movement to be balanced. Then, at start-up a loop for calculating the transmitted torque estimation is carried out so long as the calculated value does not exceed the threshold value. When the threshold is exceeded, an automatic parking brake-release command is produced.

  • Publication number: 20090197128
Abstract: A fuel cell system management method, wherein a reformer is provided for supplying hydrogen-containing reformed gas to the fuel cell unit and a compressor is provided for supplying air to the fuel cell unit. The fuel cell unit includes cells arranged in modules. Voltages are measured across terminals of each cell of each module of the cell unit, and the voltage difference between the mean cell voltage for the cell unit and a predetermined mean cell voltage is calculated. The voltage difference is compared with a predetermined threshold voltage different, and the presence or absence of carbon monoxide poisoning in the fuel cell unit is determined based on the comparison.

  • Patent number: 7206682
Abstract: A device for uphill start-up assistance for a motor vehicle including a control for controlling release of the vehicle mechanical brakes that act on the vehicle wheels, so that the vehicle is maintained on the slope when maneuvering uphill without any intervention from the driver on this maintaining condition. The control uses mainly the state of the slope, the interpretation and anticipation of the commands of driver and/or of a central driving member, and the determined instantaneous clutching characteristics. In a preferred embodiment, the assistance device co-operates with an electrical device of the parking brake.
