Abstract: A container, for newspapers or other articles, is arranged for mounting on an edge of a door, by means of, for example, an L-shaped clip. The container has a first opening through which an article can be inserted. The first opening is provided with a device for at least hindering removal of the articles. The device could be inwardly directed flanges around the first opening. A second opening is provided for removal of articles. It is closed when the door is closed and is opened when the door is opened to permit removal of articles from the container. The second opening can be provided on one edge of the container, so that it is closed by a doorjamb associated with the door.
