  • Patent number: 9126166
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for filling a multitube catalytic reactor and to a set of inserts suited to implementing this method. The method of the invention is based on the use of inserts of different types allowing superposed layers of catalysts to be placed in the reaction compartments. The heads of the inserts are visually distinct according to the type of insert, making it possible to avoid filling errors and thus allowing the various layers of catalyst to be filled reliably and simultaneously on a reactor scale.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 1, 2014
Date of Patent: September 8, 2015
    Assignee: Arkema France
Inventors: Nicolas Dupont, Emmanuel Lambert, Arnaud Souet, David Urbaniak

  • Publication number: 20040083763
Abstract: The invention concerns a method and a device for heating glass sheets in an oven, which are transported therein by a conveyor with horizontal rollers and wherein their surfaces are heated by heating means arranged above and beneath the sheets, by radiation and by forced convection by injecting hot gas into the oven, the gas injected beneath being in the form of jets whereof the axis of symmetry is oblique relative to the forward moving direction of the sheets on the conveyor and directed towards their lower surface.

  • Patent number: 6169835
Abstract: An inner layer of strands comprises at least one strand; each strand consists of three or four twisted elementary fibers without any central elementary fiber. The ratio of the twist pitch of the strand to its diameter is between 7 and 19. The inner layer may be surrounded by an outer layer which also comprises twisted strands.
