Abstract: Known telecommunication devices, like a telephone device or a facsimile apparatus or a separate unit for displaying the caller's number to the person to be called, for providing calling line identification in response to an identification signal transmitted between two rings of a ringing signal, are not sufficiently user friendly. By providing said telecommunication device with a detector for detecting an incoming call already being answered, at an other time a regular user was not present or via an other telephone situated at an other location but coupled to the same line in a parallel way, which information preferably will be stored and displayed, the device becomes more user friendly.
