Abstract: Disclosed embodiments include systems, vehicles, and methods for selectively activating or deactivating systems associated with an object based on a position of a transmission source relative to the object. In an illustrative embodiment, a system includes signal sensing devices positionable around an object that are configured to detect a transmission signal from a transmission source. A control system is operably coupled with the signal sensing devices. The control system is configured to determine a position of the transmission source relative to the object, the position including an orientation relative to the object and/or a location within a perimeter of the object, based on a relative received signal strength of the transmission signal received by at least one of the signal sensing devices and to initiate operation of at least one subsystem associated with the object based on the position of the transmission source relative to the object.

The plurality of antenna elements is a multibeam antenna with a substantially conical or cylindrical construction.
