  • Patent number: 10146331
Abstract: An information processing system includes a pointer to designate a position in a three-dimensional space relative to a display, and a first image capture device to capture the position designated by the pointer relative to the display as a virtual image of the pointer. In an example embodiment, a parameter calculator is included to calculate either a first or second parameter. The first parameter is used for transforming coordinates of the designated position in the virtual image to world coordinates, by touching the display. The second parameter is used for transforming coordinates of the designated position in the virtual image when the pointer is operated above the display, without touching the display. Finally, a world coordinate calculator is included to transform the coordinates of the position designated by the pointer in the virtual image to the world coordinates by applying the first parameter or the second parameter.

  • Patent number: 10070066
Abstract: A coordinate calculator includes: an image processing unit configured to calculate a coordinate of an attention point from each of a plurality of images captured by a plurality of imaging units; a transmitter configured to transmit the calculated coordinate to a connected separate information processing device using a built-in function included in an operating system of the information processing device; a receiver configured to receive calibration information of the imaging unit, the calibration information being calculated by the information processing device based on the transmitted coordinate and transmitted by the information processing device using a built-in function included in the operating system of the information processing device; and a storage unit configured to store therein the received calibration information.

  • Patent number: 9569013
Abstract: A coordinate detection system detects coordinates of a position to which an electronic pen points on a surface of a display. The coordinate detection system includes a plurality of detecting elements configured to detect light emitted from each of light emission points of the electronic pen, and a coordinate detection unit configured to detect the coordinates of the position to which the electronic pen points based on a distance relationship between first images of the light emission points in an image formed by the light detected by each of the plurality of detecting elements and second images of the light emission points formed by reflection of the first images on the surface of the display.
