    Abstract: A one piece clip is provided for slidably retaining a rod or like actuating member adjacent a panel. The clip is provided with means for engagement with one edge of a slotted opening provided in the panel, a tongue for gripping engagement with the opposite edge of the slotted opening, and means for retaining the rod or like member against lateral movement.
