Abstract: New N-aryl-urea compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 are difluorochloromethylmercapto, chlorine or hydrogen, with either X.sub.1 or X.sub.2 representing difluorochloromethylmercapto;Are outstandingly effective as selective herbicides.

Abstract: Novel N-(Difluoromethylmercaptophenyl) urea compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which X.sub.1 and X.sub.2 individually are difluorochloromethylmercapto, chlorine or hydrogen, provided that at least one of X.sub.1 or X.sub.2 is difluorochloromethylmercapto;R.sub.1 is hydrogen, alkyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or alkenyl of from 2 to 4 carbon atoms; andR.sub.2 is alkyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or alkenyl of from 2 to 4 carbon atoms;Are outstandingly effective as herbicides, particularly as selective herbicides.

Abstract: Helmintic infestations can be treated with an N-carbalkoxy-N'-(2-amido-5-alkylphenyl)-S-substituted-isothiourea. A typical embodiment is the treatment of Bunostomum trigonocephalum in sheep utilizing N-methoxycarbonyl-N'-(2-butyramido-5-n-butylphenyl)-S-methylisothiourea. Compositions adapted for this use are also described.
