  • Patent number: 8976015
Abstract: Disclosed is a method and a circuit configuration as well as a navigation system are disclosed, wherein the extraction and transmission of signals running on a line bus (1, 2) is carried out without having to sever the bus cable. Furthermore, a sensor (4) is disclosed, which outputs sensor signals reproducing the line signals and wherein the output sensor signals are amplified by a signal processing unit (11) and transformed into a defined digital signal shape (22). The filtered signals are then transmitted to a display device (14) or another device via an additional bus in wireless manner or by way of a line.

  • Patent number: 8729857
Abstract: A data transfer, power supply and charging apparatus having a data interface transfers both energy to an energy storage device and vehicle- or driver-related data via a charging cable or electric line. The use of a charging cable for transmitting data to and from the vehicle is suitable particularly for electric and hybrid vehicles in the automotive sector. In this way, it is possible to perform updates for vehicle-internal systems and to check these. In addition, the data transfer, power supply and charging apparatus may include a communication unit which also allows data to be received and sent during travel without an electrical connection.

  • Patent number: 7267209
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electromechanically operable disc brake for motor vehicles comprising a brake caliper and an actuator arranged at the brake caliper, with two friction linings cooperating with each one lateral surface of a brake disc, with at least one of the friction linings being movable into engagement with the brake disc by way of the actuator, and the actuator having an electric motor that is driven by means of an electronic control and regulation unit. To achieve a compact disc brake, the invention discloses that the control and regulation unit is arranged directly at the actuator . This provision renders it possible to configure the electric connection as a plug coupling, which offers financial and safety advantages.
