  • Publication number: 20250065133
Abstract: An implant communication system configured to receive the data transferred by the first control unit and to simulate the communication interface, the back-end communication unit further comprising a programmer app unit configured to read out data from the communication interface simulation unit, the back-end communication unit further comprising a second control unit configured to control the communication interface simulation unit and the programmer app unit in such a way that the data is saved, in particular as a report, in a storage unit communicatively connected to the second control unit and/or the back-end communication unit, said data being accessible by the health care provider. Furthermore, the invention relates to a computer implemented method for communicating with an implantable medical device and a computer program.

  • Patent number: 12068075
Abstract: In a method for initiating a data transfer from an implantable medical device a relay data request is generated at a remote device, the relay data request containing an implant interrogation request representing a request for the implantable medical device to create an interrogation data set. The relay data request is transferred to a patient device, and a communication link between the patient device and the implantable medical device is established to transmit said implant interrogation request to the implantable medical device. An implant interrogation response is transferred from the implantable medical device to the patient device, the implant interrogation response representing a response from the implantable medical device containing said interrogation data set. The implant interrogation response is transferred from the patient device to the remote device.

  • Publication number: 20240226577
Abstract: A communication system for wireless data transmission between an implantable medical device (IMD) and an external device and a respective communication method are disclosed aiming at the increase of longevity of an IMD energy source. The communication system comprises a communication unit and a processor. The IMD is configured to monitor a bodily parameter of a patient and/or is configured to deliver a therapy signal to the patient, wherein the IMD comprises a transceiver module configured to exchange the data with the communication unit of the external device in an uplink direction from the transceiver module to the communication unit and in a downlink direction from the communication unit to the transceiver module. Further, a respective computer program product and computer readable data carrier is described.

  • Publication number: 20190109374
Abstract: An antenna of an implant programming device that has a telemetry transmit/receive stage, in particular working in the ULP-AMI band, for wireless communication with an electronic medical implant. The antenna is formed as a conductor track on a stiff planar carrier substrate. The surface area of the carrier substrate is much larger than the surface area covered by the conductor track.

  • Patent number: 9206805
Abstract: An air regulator for compressor, in particular for a screw compressor, of the type that has an oil separator device comprising a pre-separator, is provided in a regulator housing containing a valve element which is spring-loaded on one side and can be actuated by means of a piston arrangement. A control device is operatively connected to the air regulator and includes a control piston which, depending on the pre-separator pressure, actuates the valve element of the air regulator in co-operation with a pre-control device in such a way that the regulator immediately and forcibly assumes the closed position upon starting the compressor, while the regulator assumes the open position in an unloaded initial state.
