  • Publication number: 20200027056
Abstract: A refrigerating appliance includes a cabinet having an inner liner that defines at least one aperture for accessing a refrigerating compartment. A door is operably coupled to the cabinet and is operable between open and closed positions. A plurality of storage surfaces is positioned within the refrigerating compartment. Each storage surface is adapted to receive at least one temporarily stored item. A scanning apparatus is adapted to record data related to the storage surfaces and the at least one temporarily stored item. The scanning apparatus conducts first and second data capturing phases. The secondary data recorded during the second data capturing phase is compared against previous data recorded during the first data capturing phase to create a current inventory manifest. The current inventory manifest is compared with a set of predetermined parameters related to the at least one temporarily stored item to selectively provide an output.

  • Patent number: 10506671
Abstract: A microwave heating apparatus includes a cavity arranged to receive a load. At least one microwave generator is configured to feed a plurality of microwaves into the cavity. At least one image-capturing device and a control unit is adapted to obtain load volume information of the load within the cavity based on information recorded by the image-capturing device about at least one portion of the load, obtain load density information using at least one of a user input and information recorded by the image-capturing device about at least one portion of the load, determine load mass information based upon the load volume information and the load density information, determine a heating pattern based upon the load mass information and control the at least one microwave generator to provide the heating pattern within the cavity.

  • Publication number: 20160345390

  • Publication number: 20040105074
Abstract: A system and method of automated analysis of human retinopathy. Stereo images of a retina are obtained at different times. Topography of the retina is obtained from analysis of the stereo image pair. Cupping of the retina is then ascertained and is indicative of the progression and severity of various retinopathies. Disparity mapping of the retina from the various images are also obtained from the images and compared at different times to assess how retinal disparities are changing as yet another indicator of the progression of retinopathies.
