The base can comprise an enclosure having an opening and an associated door for providing access to an interior space of the enclosure. A hinge system can open and shut the door. When the door is shut, the hinge system can be contained within the interior space and thus hidden from view. When the door is open, the hinge system can elevate the door relative to the opening.
