  • Patent number: 12255416
Abstract: A protective cap (4, 4?) for an electrical high-current plug connector (1) is substantially box-shaped and has at least one open side (5). The protective cap (4) has a gripping element (8) for fixing the protective cap (4, 4?) to a connection region (3, 3?, 3?) of the high-current plug connector (1), which is provided for connecting an electrical conductor. The gripping element (8) extends into the open side (5). The gripping element (8) has a pincer-like design with two arms (8a, 8b) which cross over each other or two arms (8a, 8b) oriented relative to each other in an S-shape. Each of the two arms (8a, 8b) is integrally formed on the protective cap (4, 4?) in a lower region and grips around the connection region (3, 3?, 3?) for a conductor to be connected in an upper region.

  • Publication number: 20240145981
Abstract: A multiple-combination connector includes a housing which is formed by a lower housing and a matching upper housing. The lower housing has at least one opening. At least one socket is attached to the opening. A plurality of individual plugs which can be independently inserted into the socket. The connector can bring about a flexible combination of different types and different numbers of plugs/sockets and meet different application requirements. Since the design is that of a single plug, it is possible to assemble and disassemble the cables one by one, thereby facilitating assembly. The connector can prevent incorrect insertion and withstand disassembly and assembly. The problem of powder spraying is easily solved. The EMC functions, Ingress Protection (waterproof and dustproof) functions and protective earthing functions are implemented. The accumulation of rain, snow, ice and dust is effectively prevented, and small size and easy installation are achieved.

  • Publication number: 20230402790
Abstract: A connector assembly comprises: a first connector, which has a housing forming an installation space and has a contact terminal accommodated in the installation space; a second connector, which has a housing forming an installation space and has a contact terminal accommodated in the installation space; and a locking device, by means of which the first and second connectors are locked while they are joined together. The locking device comprises a release protection component on either the first connector or the second connector and an insert on the other of the components first connector and second connector. The disclosure further relates to an adapter, a connector, a lateral locking device and a mounting frame for the connector assembly. The connector assembly is easy to assemble, allows the entire device to be made compact, and has improved electromagnetic shielding and watertightness.
