An electronic unit (27) for drive and control of the electric motor (104) has power elements and is housed in a first portion (120) of the frame (102), and the electric motor is housed in a second portion of (107) of the frame (102). The first and second portions (120, 107) of the frame (102) are formed by a single one-piece body part of the frame, and the power components of the electronic unit (27) are in direct thermal contact with the first portion (120), which is formed of a thermally conductive metal material for the dissipation of heat from the power components.

Abstract: A prosthesis comprising two tubular brackets connected in sliding manner and securable by means of pins to the ends of the fractured bone. The two brackets are connected by means of a flexible cable the ends of which the connected by a cable tensioning device. The cable is guided by a series of circumferential grooves arranged alternately on the two brackets, and is tightened by the cable tensioning device in such a manner as to exert, between the two brackets and in one operation, a traction or compression force evenly distributed along the brackets.

Abstract: A recirculating ball screw-nut screw coupling wherein the nut screw is defined by a cylindrical body having an internal helical groove for a number of balls located between the screw and nut screw, and two substantially radial holes each larger in diameter than the helical groove and each engaged by a plug having a hole facing the aforementioned groove; both plugs being connected integral with the opposite ends of a U-shaped fastener fitted on to the outside of the nut screw and having an internal recirculating channel connecting the holes in the plugs to each other, as well as externally via a radial loading hole.
Abstract: A vehicle power seat, wherein the seat portion presents a carriage having a center cavity for a spring cushion, and hinged at the rear to a reclinable backrest. Abstract: A system for controlling the power window regulators of at least the doors on the driver and front-seat passenger sides of a vehicle includes control switches having settings corresponding to at least the fully and partly open and closed positions of the windows. The control switches provide electric control signals corresponding to the switch settings. The regulator control system also includes at least one electric control motor and a motor control system which controls the motor in dependence upon the control signals received from the switches. The signals are coded in correspondence to the switch settings, for example, by differing voltage levels, and are supplied along a minimum number of wires (optimally a single wire for all the switches corresponding to each motor) to a decoder in the motor control system. The regulator control system is advantageous in the elimination of the plurality of wires previously required for individually connecting each switch position to the motor control system.
