Abstract: A method for manufacturing tubular articles provided with a grip region on their reverse side, particularly for providing hold-up stockings, by way of circular hosiery knitting machines, comprising the use of a circular hosiery knitting machine that has at least two feeds or drops, of which at least one first feed is capable of dispensing a bare elastomer yarn; at the first feed, at least one needle of at least one group of contiguous needles is moved to a “tuck” position or to a “drop” position knit in order to pick up the bare elastomer yarn while the other needles of the group of needles are held in or moved to the “miss” position and therefore excluded from picking up the bare elastomer yarn.

Abstract: A therapeutic hosiery item and a method for manufacturing the same with a circular hosiery knitting machine. The therapeutic hosiery item comprises first rows of knitting alternated with second rows of knitting produced with a number of stitches that is smaller than the number of stitches constituting the first rows of knitting. The first rows of knitting are composed of at least one stretch yarn and the second rows of knitting are composed of at least one stretch yarn that has a larger diameter than the at least one stretch yarn that composes the first rows of knitting.

Abstract: A girdle for tights or pantyhose, in which the regions that constitute the panty and the initial portions of the stretch hose are constituted by a tuck-stitch mesh, formed starting from a plain background mesh so as to obtain, by combining and knitting in three dimensions particular conventional threads and elastic threads which are conveniently woven together, a mesh having alternating undulations which are considerably in relief with respect to the plain mesh, such as to generate an adequate compression and thus a massaging and tonic action in the regions of the body contained in the girdle.
