Patent number: 10291184Abstract: A tracker circuit configured to provide a variable supply voltage to a power amplifier (PA) circuit is disclosed. The tracker circuit comprises a predefined state machine circuit comprising a plurality of states mapped in accordance with transitions associated with a predefined mapping scheme. In some embodiments, the plurality of states of the state machine circuit identify one or more operational modes associated with the tracker circuit, wherein the one or more operational modes comprises one or more voltage levels respectively associated therewith. In some embodiments, the one or more operational modes comprises at least two active operational modes. In some embodiments, a transition between the one or more operational modes of the tracker circuit is dictated by a decoding of a digital selection signal received from a digital communication interface associated therewith.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 2018Date of Patent: May 14, 2019Assignee: Intel IP CorporationInventors: Ilan Sutskover, Eran Segev, Stephan Henzler, Alexander Belitzer

Publication number: 20180184385Abstract: Currently, transmission power of a STA in multi-user uplink environment is determined by the AP without addressing STA considerations that relate to voltage, power use, power saving, overhead, etc., and in general relate to the STA's power consumption (All of which can have secondary effects such as interference, etc.). By adopting the protocol and/or the restriction on assigned transmission power per STA, better power consumption can be achieved for the STA. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, techniques are disclosed that employ the concept of such a restriction and a protocol, as well as a technique and device to implement the concept.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 22, 2016Publication date: June 28, 2018Inventors: Sefi KRAEMER, Ofer GUETA, Ilan SUTSKOVER, Eran SEGEV

Publication number: 20170106204Abstract: A neural probe for light stimulation of a tissue is provided. The probe includes a base that has light supplying circuitry, and one or more elongated microsized shanks extending from the base. Each shank has a longitudinal axis and includes one or more waveguides extending along the shank's length, with the waveguides being optically connected to the light supplying circuitry. In addition, each of the waveguides is optically connected to a diffraction grating coupler that emits a light beam from the shank when light passes from the base through the waveguide and to the diffraction grating coupler. The emitted light beam has a propagation direction at a set angle relative to an axis that is substantially normal to the longitudinal axis of the shank. A method for stimulating a tissue using the neural probe is also provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 17, 2016Publication date: April 20, 2017Inventors: Eran Segev, Laurent Moreaux, Trevor M. Patent number: 9083229Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for regulating power in an integrated circuit system. A system includes a processing unit configured to monitor one or more operating parameters in the integrated circuit system. Based on the one or more monitored operating parameters, the processing unit is configured to predict an occurrence of an event that will cause an increased load on the integrated circuit system and further to assert a voltage adjustment command based on the predicted event. A power regulator is coupled to a power supply. The power regulator is configured to supply a regulated output voltage at a nominal voltage level. The power regulator is further configured to receive the voltage adjustment command and to supply the output voltage at an adjusted output level responsively to the voltage adjustment command.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 2014Date of Patent: July 14, 2015Assignee: MARVELL INTERNATIONAL LTD.Inventors: Yehoshua Yabbo, Eran Segev
