Abstract: The invention relates to the modularity of a reversible symmetrical single-pillar vertical support assembly (the Tower) which is the major structural component for a drum beating pedal apparatus (drum pedal). Said drum pedal can also be used to beat, without limitation, other musical instruments and musical accessories. Upon this Tower can be constructed various single-beater, multiple-beater and remote drum pedals and drum beating mechanisms according to the operator's requirements. This modular single-Tower drum pedal system also comprises several ancillary inventions which also can be applied in concert with or independently of the said Modular Single-Tower Drum Pedal System.

Abstract: An anchoring fixture for a musical instrument comprising a clamp socket with a platform, the platform having a hollow circular piece arranged on its bottom face, a through hole in its center position for communication with the hollow circular piece. A fixed clamping wall and a movable clamping piece are provided on a top face of the platform at its lateral edge. One end of the movable clamping piece is extended to form a protruded connecting rod, which is inserted in an arc groove channel in the fixed clamping wall. In the central portion of the fixed clamping wall and the movable clamping piece, a semi-circular recess is formed respectively, and an enhancing ring piece locates at an enclosed space formed by the semi-circular recesses.

Abstract: A snare mounting and tension adjusting arrangement includes a tension adjustment unit and a snare holder unit fastened to the peripheral wall of a snare drum to hold a snare under the snare head of the snare drum, wherein the tension adjustment unit includes a locating frame fixed to the snare drum at one side, a slide coupled to a rail at the locating frame, an adjusting screw bolt mounted in a through hole at the locating frame and threaded into a screw hole at the slide and rotated to lift/lower the slide along the rail in adjusting the tension of the snare, and a locking lever pivoted to the slide and controlled to lock the slide.

Abstract: A combination side-drum holder includes a mounting unit having a mounting plate fastened to the shell of a base drum to hold a sliding bar and a holding down block for fixing the sliding bar in position, and a holder unit fastened to an upright support rod at one end of the sliding bar to hold a pair of side drums, the holder unit including two ball socket halves fastened together, two balls rotatably mounted in between the ball socket halves and held down in position when the ball socket halves are fastened tight, and two supporting rods respectively connected to the balls and extended to the outside for holding a respective side drum.

Abstract: An adjustable tom-tom holder includes a mounting base fixedly fastened to the shell of a base drum, a holder block turned about an annular coupling block at the mounting base, the holder block having a longitudinally extended V-groove at the top, a support bar sliding in the V-groove, the support bar having an upright supporting rod for holding side drums, and a holding-down plate fastened to the holder block by screws to hold down the support bar in the desired position.
