Abstract: When a failure occurs in a network or in a network apparatus, a connection state of the network is changed. There is provided a network configuration estimating apparatus for knowing logical route information quickly after a failure occurrence in accordance with information collected from network apparatuses, although it is conventionally difficult to know this information quickly. The network configuration estimating apparatus executes: a process of generating network configuration information such as physical and logical topologies from information collected in advance; a process of monitoring a network failure; a process of calculating a network configuration to be estimated after a network failure occurrence, from the network configuration information generated in advance and network failure information; a process of visually displaying the calculated network configuration; and a process of managing history of calculated network configurations.

Abstract: A network system configured from a test device that executes a test including a continuity test and a performance test of a network configured from a plurality of transfer devices and a management server that requests an execution of the test for the test device, in this way, one or more backup session used for executing the test is selected from a plurality of sessions, the test is executed for a processing interval in a success, a next test is executed by the backup session when the processing time for the test exceeds over a specified time, thereby, a large number of tests can be executed and the test can be executed regularly even when the processing time becomes longer caused by a failure etc.

Abstract: A communication system and server includes a first memory for storing terminal information of a first terminal and a second terminal, a second memory for storing outgoing call history information of at least either the first terminal or the second terminal, a third memory for storing incoming call history information of at least either the first terminal or the second terminal; and a processing unit for reading out the information from the first memory to control at least either information of the second memory or the third memory in accordance with information contained in a notification from the communication device when setting the connection between at least either the first terminal or the second terminal and the communication device, therefore, two parties to be communicated with each other specify a connection terminal of a call source.

Abstract: A network system, management server, and OAM test management method for grouping the virtual networks, selecting a test target for each group, and lowering the network load and the operating load in the OAM testing. Grouping the multiple virtual networks based on their physical topology and selecting a representative virtual network for each group, allows selecting a test target virtual network from among the representative virtual networks for the virtual network selected by the operator and executing tests.

Abstract: One of objects is to reduce a load in a session management and relay process on an SOAP-SIP adaptor for providing a 3PCC service. The SOAP-SIP adaptor (hereinafter the adaptor) receives a connection request message between a first terminal and a second terminal from a Web server, and establishes the sessions with each of the first terminal and the second terminal. After establishing the sessions with each of the first terminal and the second terminal, the adaptor sends a transfer request (REFER) of session to a call control device. Thereafter, the call control device manages session between the first terminal and the second terminal each having established the session with the adaptor.

Abstract: When load balancing (LB) for SIP message communication is performed across multiple SIP servers, the number of messages that must be processed by an LB server is reduced. The SIP LB server includes an LB management means which, if the previous hop source of a received request message is a terminal in the local domain, determines which SIP server to serve the terminal, and a redirect function which notifies the message source terminal in the local domain of the address of the serving SIP server. The SIP LB server further includes an LB management table which, if the previous hop source of a received request message is other than a terminal in the local domain, is searched to find a SIP server serving communication with a destination terminal in the local domain, and a stateless forwarding function which statelessly forwards the received request message to the resolved SIP server address.

At this time, the SOAP-SIP adapter 2 sends an INVITE message including its own IP address and port number to the terminals 5b and 5c. Each terminal 5b, 5c sends a 200 OK including its own IP address and port number to the SOAP-SIP adapter 2. The SOAP-SIP adapter 2 stores correspondingly the IP address and port number of each terminal 5b, 5c in a memory. The SOAP-SIP adapter 2 transfers a media stream received from each terminal 5b, 5c to the destination of the corresponding IP address and port number by referring to the memory. Also, a pseudo RBT is sent to the terminal A5b from establishing the session with the terminal A5b till establishing the session with the terminal B5c to prevent a silent state.

Abstract: If interaction between signaling gateways frequently occurs, it is possible that extended processings are executed redundantly on a path of signaling messages. To avoid such a redundancy, a consistent method is necessary for deciding a signaling gateway to execute an extended processing from among the signaling gateways. The signaling gateways, each time they receive a signaling message, calculate information about a path through which it is transferred. By passing the path information in addition to the signaling message to an extended processing program, the signaling gateways decide whether to execute the extended processing on the signaling gateways, on a session basis. A signaling gateway that has executed an extended processing adds information indicating a processing status to the signaling message to notify other signaling gateways of it.

Abstract: A reservation processing is executed according to the configuration request to VPN and network device to inform a user's terminal of scheduled period. In a network system including plural network devices for transmitting a packet and a management server, plural logical networks (VPNs) are formed on the plural network devices. The management server receives a configuration request including configuration data for VPN and configuration desired time from a user's terminal to generate the configuration data for the network device from the configuration data for the VPN. The management server refers to a configuration reservation table to confirm whether free time is available in the same period about all target network devices. If free time is available, the management server makes configuration reservation and configures the target network device in the reserved time. The management server notifies the user's terminal of the reserved time.

Abstract: The amount of data of presence information delivered from a presence server to a terminal is reduced by letting the presence server discard part of the presence information depending on communication measures and data type available to the terminal, by which the amount of data processed by the terminal is reduced. The presence server fetches terminal information stored therein based on terminal information contained in a presence inquiry request message from a user and thereby learns the type of data that can be processed by the terminal of the user. The presence server reconstructs the presence information of a referred user into information that can be processed by the terminal, and sends the information to the application of the terminal. By reducing the amount of presence data transmitted from the presence server to the terminal, the amount of data to be processed by the terminal can be cut down.
