  • Publication number: 20060181405
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system for dynamically tasking one or more surveillance resources includes a core module identifying one or more surveillance resources. The surveillance resources each include one or more sensors. The system also includes one or more links between the core module and one or more target definitions. The target definitions each define one or more targets for surveillance, and the links logically link the surveillance resources identified in the core module to the targets defined in the target definitions. Modification to one or more of the links dynamically tasks the surveillance resources without modification to the core module and without logically unlinking the core module from the target definitions.

  • Publication number: 20060181404
Abstract: In one embodiment, a system for dynamically tasking one or more surveillance resources includes multiple collection requirements (CRs) that identify multiple surveillance resources. The system also includes an intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance requirement (ISRR) that is a parent of the CRs. The CRs inherit one or more attributes from the ISRR, and the inheritance of the attributes from the ISRR to the CRs enables management of the CRs from the ISRR.

  • Publication number: 20060148267
Abstract: In a method for treating semiconductor substrates, one or two substrates are positioned in a substrate process chamber and subjected to wet etching, cleaning, rinsing and/or drying steps. During cleaning or rinsing a band of megasonic energy is created within the process chamber to create an active rinse or cleaning zone, and the substrate(s) are translated through the active zone during a rinsing or cleaning process within the chamber.

  • Publication number: 20060071505
Abstract: An automotive vehicle has a power operated lift-gate that is opened and closed by two drive units. The typical drive unit has a guide channel, an attachment assembly that is disposed in the guide channel, a flexible drive member that is attached to the attachment assembly and formed in a loop for moving the attachment assembly in the guide channel. The flexible drive member is trained solely around two pulleys at the respective opposite ends of the guide channel to form the flexible drive member in a narrow loop. One of the pulleys is an idler pulley that is part of an adjustable pulley assembly and the other pulley is driven by a power unit that is attached to the guide channel. The adjustable pulley assembly adjusts the distance between the pulleys to take up slack in the flexible drive member.

  • Publication number: 20050223588
Abstract: The present application describes a system for drying substrates which includes a chamber and an inner vessel having an upper edge positioned within the chamber. Process fluid is directed into the inner vessel and allowed to cascade over the upper edge. The upper edge of the inner vessel is lowered to thereby lower the cascade level across the surface of the substrate, while a drying vapor is introduced into the chamber. As the cascade level descends across the surface of the substrate, the substrate surface is exposed to the drying vapor. Megasonic energy may be directed into the inner vessel to accelerate drying using boundary layer thinning.

  • Publication number: 20050176518
Abstract: The present invention provides a golf practice cage with a central location. The central location is designed to collect golf balls and may comprise a bucket or bag. The golf practice cage comprises a frame with an enclosure substantially surrounding the frame. The enclosure has a back portion with a fold extending in front of the back portion to form a pocket to catch golf balls and funnel them towards the central location. Alternatively to the fold, a base net may reside within an area defined by the frame and the enclosure. The base net funnels caught balls to the central location.

  • Publication number: 20050175974
Abstract: Methods for designing an assessment and providing accessibility features for a test taker profile are disclosed. A test taker profile, including multiple knowledge, skill and other attribute(s) (KSAs), is defined in which each KSA has a specific level. Each KSA is designated as either a focal KSA (an essential part of the targeted proficiency to be measured) or an ancillary KSA (not an essential part). For each focal KSA, a focal value (the value that the test taker must have to possess a high level in the targeted proficiency) is defined. For a particular test design alternative (which may include an accessibility feature), a requirement is determined for each KSA. An accessibility feature is selected which avoids indications of invalidity, including: a mismatch between the targeted proficiency and the expected proficiency; the test taker profile does not satisfy all ancillary requirements; and focal requirements are either excessive or insufficient.

  • Publication number: 20050000053
Abstract: A hand-held nozzle is attached to the end of a vacuum and fluid delivery hose of an upright deep cleaner. The nozzle includes a reservoir to contain a solution to be applied to a surface. When a solution delivery system of the deep cleaner is pressurized, water from the upright cleaner clean water tank is routed through the hose to the hand-held nozzle. The water is routed through a venturi valve connected to the reservoir, which draws the solution to the valve to mix with the water stream. The resultant mixture flows from the hand-held nozzle for application to a surface being treated. One embodiment of the solution reservoir includes a retainer cap bonded to the reservoir and utilizing a bayonet-type mounting arrangement for mounting the reservoir to a nozzle assembly.

  • Publication number: 20040260782
Abstract: A system for controlling the operation a one or more crystallography laboratory comprises a user interface coupled to an input device. The laboratories each house test samples and include imaging devices and automated machinery configured to retrieve specific samples for imaging. A controller is configured to receive scheduling information from the user interface indicating one or more samples to be imaged and one or more times to image the samples, wherein the controller communicates the scheduling information to each laboratory housing at least one of the test samples to be imaged. The laboratory devices may communicate asynchronously via a server configured to receive messages, determine process(es) to be executed based on the type of the received message, the source of the message, and/or the destination of the message. A transmit message may then be generated, through execution of the process(es), and transmitted to the determined destination device when available.
