  • Publication number: 20190294858
Abstract: A digital imaging system processes digital images of a subject's fundus and/or pupils to determine a pupil edge. Two regions of a digital image are evaluated to determine a threshold value. Typically, the two regions are selected such that each region would usually not include artifacts. The threshold value can then be used to identify a pupil-iris threshold in the digital image. Based on the pupil-iris threshold, pupil edges are identified.

  • Patent number: 10411978
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to monitoring network traffic using a monitoring engine that monitors network traffic in networks to provide metrics. An inference engine may provide activity profiles based on portions of the network traffic where each activity profile includes features associated with the portions of network traffic. The inference engine may determine other activity profiles correlated with the activity profiles based on correlation models such that the determination of the other activity profiles occurs prior to monitoring an occurrence of other portions of the network traffic. The inference engine may modify monitoring actions of the monitoring engine based on the other activity profiles. The inference engine may provide reports based on the portions of the network traffic, the activity profiles, the other portions of the network traffic, or the other activity profiles.

  • Publication number: 20190269168
Abstract: A system and method for applying a reduced sugar coating to a food product is provided. The system uses separate applications (simultaneous or sequential) of a non-sucrose carbohydrate syrup from a first applicator and a sucrose syrup from a second applicator. The dual applications of the syrups are applied without an active drying step between applications. The process results in a coated food product with reduced clumping and a desired crystallized appearance even with the reduced levels of sugar.

  • Patent number: 10341206
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to monitoring network traffic over a network. A monitoring engine may monitor flows of network packets in the network. The monitoring engine may determine an observation port that provided the network packets. The monitoring engine may determine primary network packets provided by an authoritative observation port based on which observation port provided the network packets and provide them to an analysis engine. The monitoring engine may discard a remainder of the network packets that may be associated with non-authoritative observation ports. The analysis engine may analyze the one or more primary network packets.

  • Patent number: 10333461
Abstract: A system for automatically commissioning a solar panel array comprises a plurality of panel monitoring devices, each panel monitoring device connected between a positive and negative terminal of a solar panel. Each panel monitoring device comprises a switching device, the switching device configurable to disconnect an output from the solar panel. The system further comprises logic configured to automatically obtain a relative position of each panel monitoring device in the system by appointing serially a series of masters from among the panel monitoring devices, each master in turn broadcasting a unique identifier and enabling its output. Each panel monitoring device listens to the masters' broadcasts and stores in memory the unique identifier and information indicating whether the panel monitoring device detected the masters' voltage. The panel monitoring devices determine their respective locations by analyzing the information broadcast by, and the voltage detected from, the masters.

  • Publication number: 20190172762
Abstract: A method of forming integrated circuit (IC) chips. After masking a layer of a material to be etched, the layer is subjected to an atomic layer etch (ALE). During the ALE, etch effluent is measured with a calorimetric probe. The calorimetric probe results reflect a species of particles resulting from etching the material. The measured etch results are checked until the results indicate the particle content is below a threshold value. When the content is below the threshold ALE is complete and IC chip fabrication continues normally.
