  • Publication number: 20260115384
Abstract: A medical device in accordance with an embodiment of the present technology includes a first component and a second component configured to be detachably coupled to the first component. The first component can include a first housing with a recessed portion and a boss. The second component can comprise a second housing configured to be received within the recessed portion of the first housing while the first and second components are detachably coupled to one another. The second housing can define a socket configured to receive the boss of the first housing. • Publication number: 20260077135
Abstract: A medicine injection pen includes a body, a drive member, a cartridge housing, and a medicine cartridge retained within the cartridge housing. The drive member is configured to move relative to the body and the medicine cartridge defines an interior volume configured to retain a liquid medicine. The drive member is configured to translate a piston within the interior volume toward a dispensing end of the medicine cartridge to dispense at least some of the liquid medicine. The medicine cartridge also includes an insertion port configured to receive a medicine dispensing element therethrough for dispensing a liquid medicine into the interior volume to replace at least some of the liquid medicine dispensed through the dispensing end. Dispensing of the liquid medicine into the interior volume of the medicine cartridge applies a fluid pressure to the piston to translate the piston away from the dispensing end of the medicine cartridge.

  • Publication number: 20250387049
Abstract: A medical sensor device includes a sensor assembly including an underside surface for attachment against a patient's skin, a sensor portion to detect a characteristic of the patient, and sensor assembly contacts which in operation carry signals representing the detected characteristic. The device also includes a transmitter assembly removably engageable with the sensor assembly and including circuitry to take the signals from the sensor assembly contacts and to transmit readings of the detected characteristic to external equipment. The device also includes mechanical interface components on the sensor assembly and the transmitter assembly which allow the transmitter assembly to be brought into abutment with the sensor assembly at a first angular position via relative axial movement between them, and then allow a relative rotation of the assemblies with respect to one another towards a second angular position and presents axial separation of the assemblies in the second angular position.

  • Publication number: 20250242106
Abstract: Fluid reservoir systems are disclosed herein. According to some embodiments, the present technology includes a reservoir defining a cavity and a plunger slidably received within the cavity. The plunger includes a vial interface, a plunger rod extending distally from the vial interface, and a needle extending longitudinally through the plunger rod. The needle has an inlet end at the vial interface and an outlet end proximate a distal portion of the plunger rod. When an outlet end of a vial of fluid medication is coupled to the vial interface, the needle extends through a septum of the vial such that the inlet end of the needle is disposed within the vial. When the plunger is fluidly coupled to the vial, proximal movement of the plunger and vial relative to the reservoir draws the fluid medication out of the vial, through the needle, and into the interior region of the reservoir.

  • Patent number: 12318668
Abstract: A ball striking device, such as a golf club head, has a face with a striking surface configured for striking a ball where the face has multiple thickness regions. The face has a center region, an upper region, a lower region, a toe region, and a heel region. The upper and lower regions have a ramped thickness extending from a center region to an upper and lower edge of the face. The heel and toe regions have a constant face thickness and have a thickness less than the other regions. Additionally, the club head body has a flange where the face is welded to the club head body. The flange has a thickness that is greater than the thickness of the heel and toe regions of the face.

  • Patent number: 12214173
Abstract: A medicine injection pen includes a body, a drive member within the body and configured to move relative thereto upon actuation, a cartridge housing releasably engageable with the body and configured to retain a medicine cartridge, at least one sensor, and at least one detector. The medicine cartridge has a liquid medicine therein and includes a piston configured to slide therein. The drive member is configured to move relative to the body to urge the piston to slide within the medicine cartridge to dispense at least some of the liquid medicine from the medicine cartridge. The sensor(s) is configured to sense movement of the drive member relative to the body to enable determination of an amount of the liquid medicine dispensed. The detector(s) is configured to detect a gap between the drive member and the piston.
