    Abstract: The invention relates to a tool for aligning a true axis of a milling machine spindle with an edge of the workpiece to allow exact positioning of the spindle above a center of a bore to be drilled. The edge finder has an elongated body which carries a measuring gauge and which is provided with a push pin which contacts the edge of the workpiece and pushes a pivotal arm of the gauge to indicate a location of the edge of the workpiece.
