Abstract: The present invention provides a method and apparatus for providing temporary electrical power to stationary locations and moveable locations. For example, vessel marine power systems may be directed to the reduction and elimination of air pollutants produced when using a ship's generator while at dock. The power system is modular, portable, and generates electricity over a wide range of voltages and frequencies.

Abstract: A system for controlling the flow of injection fluids and production fluids between a wellbore and one or more zones in a subterranean formation including an elongated tubing string extending within the wellbore and having one or more tubular ported mandrels interposed in the tubing string. Retrievable sleeves are insertable through the tubing string for registration with the mandrels in predetermined longitudinal and rotational positions as determined by a no-go shoulder on the mandrel and cooperating keys and key slots formed on the sleeves and the mandrels, respectively. The sleeves include removable orifice plugs which may be sized to control the flow of fluid through the sleeves between the tubing string and the wellbore. The sleeves are wireline insertable and retrievable so that changes in fluid flow control characteristics may be selectively carried out without pulling the tubing string from the wellbore.

Abstract: Apparatus for dehydrating slurries such as water based drilling fluids heavily laden with drill cuttings and other earth solids comprising a rotating drum which is heated by combustion of a fuel air mixture to generate relatively large quantities of combustion products for heating in an enclosed chamber defined by said drum. The slurry to be dehydrated is injected into the interior of the drum or against the outer sidewall thereof for rapid exposure and substantially flash evaporation of the slurry liquids. An outer housing may be constructed around the drum and in one embodiment the drum is arranged inclined to the horizontal with the slurry introduced into the interior of the drum and the combustion chamber formed between the outer housing and the drum. In another embodiment the combustion chamber is formed on the interior of the drum and the evaporation chamber is formed between the drum and the outer housing.
