  • Publication number: 20190232809
Abstract: A safety system for an electromechanical coupling assembly for being fitted to a charging station and an electric vehicle, a corresponding electromechanical coupling assembly and charging station, as well as a method for electromechanically coupling an electric vehicle to a charging station. The present safety system includes: a detectable element secured to a first connecting part of the coupling assembly; a sensor secured to a second connecting part, the sensor being configured to detect whether the detectable element is located in proximity; and a control unit driving a movement of the first connecting part from a folded position to a proximate position with a force, the amplitude of which is lower than a maximum amplitude F1 max, and controlling a movement of the first connecting part from the proximate position to a connecting position with a force, the amplitude of which is higher than the maximum amplitude F1 max.

  • Patent number: 10062881
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electricity storage unit comprising a plurality of energy storage cells (1) positioned side by side and a rigid enclosure (10) surrounding said cells (1), comprising two separate parts (100A, 100B), a first part of the enclosure comprising at least one reference wall, in particular made up of a lower wall (110A), the unit comprising:—at least one stop (200, 220, 230) made from an elastically deformable material that comprises at least one so-called main wall (214, 224, 240), extending along a plane essentially normal to the reference wall (110A) and which is positioned between two of the cells (1), such that at least one stop (200, 220, 230) is placed between each pair of adjacent cells (1), and—pressing means (300) designed to bear on a face of each of the cells (1) in order to press each cell (1) against the reference wall (110A), the pressing means (300) being removably fastened to the first part (100A) of the enclosure (10).

  • Publication number: 20160172716
Abstract: The invention relates to an assembly for storing electrical energy (1), comprising: an envelope comprising a body (10) having at least one side wall (11) and at least one open end, and at least one cover (20) for closing the at least one open end of the body; at least one energy storage element (50) arranged inside the envelope; and an electrolyte solution also inside the envelope. The invention is characterised in that the storage assembly also comprises: a pressure-increasing accelerator (40) for generating an overpressure inside the assembly when the temperature inside the assembly is higher than a temperature threshold, especially at between 120° C. and 140° C.; and means (30) for the local fracturing of the envelope when the pressure inside the envelope is higher than a pressure threshold.
