Abstract: A vertical support device is disclosed for providing ergonomic support to users engaged with personal utility devices such as treadmills and rolling walkers. The device includes an upper assembly with adjustable hand grips, forearm supports, and an abdomen support sling, all mounted on upper assembly arms with first and second adjustment mechanisms for customized positioning. The upper assembly connects to a lower assembly comprising a crossbar, lower assembly arms, mounting bases with clamp mechanisms, and width and height adjustment mechanisms to accommodate varying device sizes and user heights. Angular adjustment is enabled by upper angle supports and lower angle supports with aligned pivot holes and locking holes. The device facilitates reduced impact exercise and improved stability, enhancing usability across a range of personal utility devices.
