  • Publication number: 20230356634
Abstract: A seat suspension including a base frame having a back portion and a bottom portion fixedly securable to a support surface. A carriage assembly is movably connected to the base frame. The carriage assembly includes a transverse member slidably connected to the base frame and a vertical guide member extending upwardly from the transverse guide member and movably connected to the base frame. The carriage assembly includes a suspension support having a first end pivotally secured to the transverse member. A shock compensating mechanism including an adjustment member is slidably disposed on a pivot surface secured to the transverse guide member. Movement of the adjustment member changes shock compensation properties of the shock compensating mechanism. A height adjustment mechanism disposed on the frame includes an actuator wherein operation of the actuator selectively moves the seat frame, the carriage assembly, and the shock compensating mechanism relative to the base frame.

  • Patent number: 10682933
Abstract: A seat suspension includes a frame fixedly securable to a structure. A suspension assembly is operably connected to the frame. A seat support is adapted to receive a seat, and the seat support is operably connected to the suspension assembly. The suspension assembly includes a first elongate suspension bar slidably disposed on a pivot surface. The first suspension bar has a first end slidingly secured to the seat support and a second opposed end secured to a shock compensating device. The suspension bar is translatable relative to the pivot surface, wherein moving the suspension bar changes the shock compensation of the suspension assembly.

  • Patent number: 7008015
Abstract: A seat suspension assembly including a base including a first pair of spaced legs adapted to be securable to a support structure. The first pair of legs is connected to a back member. A seat frame is adapted to support a seating surface and disposed between the first pair of spaced legs of the base. The seat frame is movably connected to the base. The seat frame includes a first guide engageable with one of the pair of legs. The first guide permits controlled movement of the seat frame relative to the base. A suspension extends between the seat frame and the base for regulating the motion of the seat frame relative to the base.

  • Publication number: 20050267013
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods for elevating high density lipoprotein (HDL) plasma levels, decreasing the absorption of dietary cholesterol in the intestine, decreasing the plasma level of low density lipoprotein (LDL), and increasing the conversion of cholesterol to bile acids, utilizing LXR? selective agonists, usually without elevating the plasma levels of triglycerides. Also provided are methods of using such agonists to treat metabolic diseases alone or in combination with other active agents. Further provided are methods for treating obesity and methods for treating the complications of obesity including type II diabetes, cardiovascular disease, hyperlipidemia, and hypertension, administering an LXR?-selective antagonist.
