  • Publication number: 20240224851
Abstract: Lock off assemblies for trimmers are provided. A trimmer includes a working head; a handle assembly connected to the working head by a connecting member; a trigger connected to the handle assembly and movable between an off position and an on position, wherein the trigger being in the on position causes actuation of the working head; and a lock off assembly. The lock off assembly includes a switch connected to the handle assembly and movable between a safe position and an operate position; and a pivotable extension pivotably connected to the switch, wherein the pivotable extension contacts and blocks the trigger when the switch is in the safe position and the trigger is moved from the off position towards the on position, and wherein the trigger is free to move between the off position and the on position when the switch is in the operate position.

  • Publication number: 20240008395
Abstract: Spreaders are provided for distributing material. A spreader includes a hopper assembly defining a receiving area configured to hold the material, the hopper assembly comprising one or more dispersion outlets for releasing the material from the receiving area; a distribution element disposed below the one or more dispersion outlets; a frame supporting the hopper assembly; a handle assembly connected to the frame; a plurality of wheels operatively connected to the frame for traversing the spreader; and a drive assembly comprising a motor operable to drive one or more of the plurality of wheels, wherein the plurality of wheels can be manually rotated without being driven by the motor, and wherein rotation of the wheels causes the distribution element to rotate.

  • Patent number: 8978746
Abstract: A header plate for a heat exchanger includes a first side flange, a second side flange spaced apart from and opposing the first flange, and a generally planar surface located between and connecting the first and second flanges. The generally planar surface and the first and second side flanges together at least partially define an internal volume of the heat exchanger. The header plate also includes a bead formed into the generally planar surface to locally deform the surface in a direction away from the internal volume, the bead extending to and blending into the first side flange. The header plate also includes a tube receiving opening extending through the generally planar surface into the internal volume, the tube receiving opening extending through the bead.
