Abstract: A vent pipe and system formed from such vent pipes is provided. The vent pipe includes an inner casing, an outer casing surrounding the inner casing, and an insulation material between the inner and outer casings. The vent pipe also includes, a male end portion, a female and portion for receiving a male end portion end of another vent pipe, the female end portion being opposite the male end portion. The vent pipe further includes a first flange extending from the male end portion, and a second flange extending from the female end portion for mating with the first external extending from the male portion of another vent pipe.

Abstract: The present invention relates to non-invasive brain delivery technology for centrally-acting analgesic peptides. Specifically, the invention is directed to compounds comprising an antibody or fragment thereof capable of transmigrating across the blood brain barrier (BBB) and an analgesic peptide. Compositions and methods of using the compounds or compositions are also provided.

Abstract: A swivel joint for a chimney shield is provided. In one embodiment, the swivel joint comprises a first cylindrical member and a second cylindrical member having an end portion received in an end portion of said first cylindrical member and rotatably coupled to the first cylindrical member. The first and second cylindrical members extends along a central longitudinal axis and the first and second cylindrical members rotate independently of one another about a plane perpendicular to the central longitudinal axis.

Abstract: A swaging machine comprising an inner die assembly and an outer die assembly. The inner die assembly includes die parts that are configured to fit together to form an adjustable cylindrical die set that contacts an inside surface circumventing a cylindrically-shaped work piece mounted around the adjustable cylindrical die set. The outer die assembly includes one or more moveable dies that are each configured, at any given moment, to contact a single tangential plane passing through an outside surface of the cylindrically-shaped work piece.

Abstract: One aspect provides a vent pipe section that comprises a body member having first and second ends and a central axis along a length thereof, a latch receiving member protruding from a side surface of and coupled to the body member and located adjacent one of the first or second ends, a movable latch attached to the body member and located adjacent an end opposite to that of the latch receiving member and configured to cooperatively engage the latch receiving member and exert a locking force along the central axis of the body member. This embodiment further includes a stop located on an outer surface of the body member adjacent the second end. A method of manufacture is also provided.
