Abstract: Provided are systems and methods for facilitating fund transfer. The systems and methods described herein may facilitate fund transfer by (1) utilizing multiple clearing financial institutions (FIs), (2) utilizing multiple sequential clearing FIs for fund transfers between different countries, (3) utilizing push-only transfers, (4) utilizing graphical codes, such as quick response (QR) codes, and/or (5) utilizing social networking systems, to facilitate payment. The systems and methods may be implemented as an improved payment platform.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for devices with displays. A device may be a mobile device. A device may be a non-mobile device. The device may request an identifier, which may be displayed on the device. In some instances, the identifier may be device-specific. In some instances, the identifier may be transaction-specific. A networked processing device may be provided with a scanner to recognize the identifier and query a transaction request.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for mobile payments. A financial institution may offer an electronic prepaid card of a merchant for sale to holders of Demand Deposit Accounts (DDA) and/or Line of Credit Account and/or Loan Account. If the DDA account holder and/or Line of Credit Account holder and/or Loan Account holder purchases the prepaid card through the financial institution, the account holder may be able to redeem the prepaid card at the merchant. The prepaid card may be provided in electronic form that may be scanned off the account holder's mobile device or by the account holder's mobile device. When the account holder purchases the prepaid card, the financial institution may perform a real-time check whether the account holder has sufficient funds for the purchase. If funds are sufficient, a transfer may be performed from the account holder's DDA account and/or Line of Credit Account and/or Loan Account to a holding account of another party at the same financial institution via ON-US transfer.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a control station detects the presence of a portable radio device within range of a radio frequency communications link, and sends a command to the portable radio device to change an internal setting of the portable radio device. In another embodiment, a control station receives at least one message from a portable radio device on an out of band channel, the at least one message indicating an identification of the portable radio device, a request to make an external connection, and an identification of an external device to which the portable radio device wishes to connect. The control station then establishes a connection to the identified external device, and couples the portable radio device to the established connection using an out of band channel.
