The backlight unit may include an array of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) on a printed circuit board. The display may have a notch to accommodate an input-output component. Reflective layers may be included in the notch. The backlight may include a color conversion layer with a property that varies as a function of position. The light-emitting diodes may be covered by a slab of encapsulant with recesses in an upper surface.

A speaker may be aligned with first openings in the segment. A vent may be aligned with second openings in the segment. A connector may protrude through the segment. A trace combiner for the antenna may be patterned onto the speaker and may be coupled to the segment. Tuners for the antenna may be disposed on first and second flexible printed circuits that extend along opposing sides of the connector. The tuners may be controlled through the speaker. The second flexible printed circuit may extend along the vent. The vent may have a vent cowling with a cut-out region next to the tuner on the second flexible printed circuit.

In one implementation, a PCIe switch is coupled to a plurality of hosts and at least one network interface via PCIe lanes. The PCIe switch is configured to exchange communications between the plurality of hosts and the one or more physical network interfaces and emulate, to each host of the plurality of hosts, a physical network interface. The PCIe switch is further configured to receive a communication from a first host of the plurality of hosts directed at a second host in the plurality of hosts using an emulated physical network interface for the first host, and transfer the communication to the second host as though the communication were received at an emulated physical network interface for the second host.

    Abstract: Electrical components such as semiconductor die may be mounted in semiconductor packages and embedded within printed circuits. A printed circuit may have a substrate with an opening and may have metal layers. During lamination operations, substrate material such as prepreg may flow and form embedding dielectric material that embeds the semiconductor die within the opening. Double-sided semiconductor dies may be formed by attaching multiple semiconductor dies together using a layer of material such as die attach film. The double-sided semiconductor dies may be embedded within a printed circuit and mounted in semiconductor packages. Wire bond wires may be used to couple one of the semiconductor dies in a double-sided semiconductor die to contacts on a substrate. Wire bond wires may also be used to couple a shield layer to the substrate.

Additional information may be displayed in a further display fields, including textual information.     Abstract: A method of teaching a robot a desired operating path and a lead-through teach handle assembly are disclosed. A mounting mechanism mounts the entire handle assembly to an arm of the robot. The handle assembly also includes a handle that is supported by the mounting mechanism. A robot operator utilizes the handle assembly and grasps the handle to apply an external force to move the robot arm, or the operator, without the handle assembly, directly holds a tool connected to the robot arm to apply the external force at the tool. The handle assembly is characterized by a universal joint that interconnects the handle and the mounting mechanism and that accommodates orientation changes of the handle relative to the mounting mechanism that result from translational and rotational movement of the robot arm as the user is teaching the robot. The external force applied at the tool is estimated with either a force sensor disposed on the handle assembly or by monitoring the torque of motors used to move the robot.

    Abstract: A fire protection means comprises a panel consisting of a honeycomb core, having in cells thereof a fire-extinguishing fluid, and of facing sheets bonded to each face of the core, the panel being arranged so that, in use, it is more rigidly enclosed on one side than the other. On entry of, or impact with, a projectile, the facing sheet on the less rigidly enclosed side of the panel peels away, or otherwise preferentially breaks up or away, consequent upon passage of the projectile and/or the ensuing hydraulic shock, so that the fire-extinguishing fluid is rapidly liberated from a large proportion of the area of the panel and substantially in the preferred direction to suppress or extinguish rapidly any fire caused by entry of the projectile.
