In at least one exemplary system for utilizing and analyzing information to provide a desired outcome of the present disclosure, the system comprises an evidence repository comprising at least one item of evidence from each of at least two evidentiary sources, and a knowledge management and decision support system in communication with the evidence repository, the knowledge management and decision support system operable to retrieve the at least one item of evidence from the evidence repository and process the at least one item of evidence according to at least one reasoning approach, the knowledge management and decision support system further operable to generate at least one outcome.
