  • Publication number: 20240144737
Abstract: Systems/techniques that facilitate artificially intelligent provision of post-vehicular-collision evidence are provided. In various embodiments, a system can receive one or more electronic notifications broadcasted by a vehicle. In various aspects, the system can determine, via parsing, whether the one or more electronic notifications indicate that a vehicular collision not involving the vehicle has occurred in a vicinity of the vehicle. In various instances, the system can initiate, in response to a determination that the one or more electronic notifications indicate that the vehicular collision has occurred, one or more electronic actions based on the vehicular collision.

  • Publication number: 20240144750
Abstract: Systems/techniques that facilitate artificially intelligent provision of post-vehicular-collision evidence are provided. In various embodiments, a system can be onboard a first vehicle. In various aspects, the system can capture, via one or more first cameras or one or more first microphones of the first vehicle, vicinity data associated with a first vicinity of the first vehicle. In various instances, the system can determine, via execution of a deep learning neural network on the vicinity data, whether a vehicular collision not involving the first vehicle has occurred in the first vicinity of the first vehicle. In various cases, the system can record, in response to a determination that the vehicular collision has occurred and via the one or more first cameras or the one or more first microphones, first post-collision evidence associated with the first vicinity of the first vehicle.

Abstract: Systems/techniques that facilitate artificially intelligent provision of post-vehicular-collision evidence are provided. In various embodiments, a system can be onboard a vehicle and can capture, via one or more cameras or microphones of the vehicle, vicinity data associated with a vicinity of the vehicle. In various instances, the system can generate, via execution of a deep learning neural network on the vicinity data, a classification label indicating whether a vehicular collision not involving the vehicle has occurred in the vicinity of the vehicle. In various cases, the system can record, in response to the classification label indicating that the vehicular collision has occurred and via the one or more cameras or the one or more microphones, post-collision evidence associated with the vicinity of the vehicle. In various aspects, the system can broadcast the classification label and the post-collision evidence to an emergency service computing device.

  • Patent number: 4357241
Abstract: For separating an emulsion comprising substantially a heavier and a lighter liquid there is used a plurality of superimposed, liquid-filled, shallow separation chambers which have a lower outlet for separated heavier liquid, an upper outlet for separated lighter liquid, and an emulsion-inlet remote from the outlets. The separation chambers are maintained under an overpressure by causing the heavier and the lighter liquid, separated in the chambers by self-separation under the action of gravity, to pass from the chambers via a respective one of two pressure-holding vessels containing a respective heavier or lighter liquid. The emulsion is fed batchwise into at least one separation chamber at a time, at a temperature greater than the temperature of the liquid already present in the chamber, and in a volumetric amount which is less than the volume of the chamber.

  • Patent number: 4349161
Abstract: A thread-storage and delivery device, which includes a storage drum on which a thread is wound to form a thread storage and from which the thread is withdrawn for supply to a textile machine. The drum is formed from a plurality of elongated rods disposed in a cylindrical pattern about the drum axis. The rods define an outer peripheral surface on which the thread windings are engaged. A thread-advancing device has portions thereof projecting radially outwardly between the rods for engaging the thread windings to slide them axially along the peripheral surface. Each rod is provided with a plurality of parallel narrow grooves extending axially thereof, which grooves are separated by narrow axially extending ribs. The outer free edge of each rib defines a narrow axially elongated surface section which defines a part of the peripheral drum surface and is engaged by the thread windings.

  • Patent number: 4073450
Abstract: A transport device is provided which is driven by an electromotor and on which more than two bobbin supports are mounted and are movable in common such that the respective bobbin to be unwound can be brought into the required association with respect to a stationary thread eye. A thread scanning device is provided adjacent the unwound thread for detecting the thread as it jumps from the bobbin just emptied to the next bobbin. This thread scanning device is connected with the electromotor such that, when the thread scanning device responds, the motor moves the transport device to such an extent that the next bobbin is brought into the required association with respect to the stationary thread eye.
