  • Patent number: 7639155
Abstract: A transmitter is adapted to transmit a command, toward one or more receivers. Each receiver is adapted to receive said command and identify said transmitter, which as transmitted it. Furthermore, each receiver is adapted to supply a signal addressed to an installer, for example, a visual signal, by actuating an operator connected to the receiver. The method for matching a transmitter and a receiver includes assigning a subset or a rank to each receiver; then the receivers supply a signal, depending on their subset or their rank, for example, in response to a rank modifying command. When only the receiver to be matched supplies a signal, the installer emits a command from the transmitter. The receiver, which has just supplied the signal, receives the command and is matched to the transmitter, which has transmitted it. the matching is carried out without any action on the receivers, simply by means of commands transmitted from the transmitter.

  • Patent number: 6936987
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for controlling an electric motor driving a body in translation between an initial position and a final position determined by a stop, by powering the motor with reduced voltage in the final position approach phase. The motor has a torque/speed characteristic such that the torque at null speed decreases with the supply voltage. As the approach phase starts, the method consists in determining a reduced voltage by decreasing the rotational speed of the motor from a nominal value to a predetermined reduced value and in cutting the motor power supply if the motor rotational speed drops below a predetermined threshold value.

  • Patent number: 6339798
Abstract: The process comprises a user acting on an initial group control module so as to commence the hooking up as a first step. It also includes the following steps: a request for signaling in the network of all the modules which are hooked up with the initial group control module by comparing the addresses which they have stored with the address of the initial group control module, the user acting on one or more of the modules of the network so as to hook it up with the initial group control module or to cancel it s hookup with the initial group control module. The process is terminated by the user acting on the initial group control module in order to terminate the hookup.

  • Patent number: 5847525
Abstract: The device comprises a control point (CP) equipped with Up and Down contacts, the actuation of which causes the rotation of the motor in the desired direction, a control and supply box (CB) containing a logic processing unit (LPU), switching means controlled by the logic unit and means for establishing a direction of rotation of the motor. The means for establishing a direction of rotation of the motor furthermore comprise means (LPU, CLK, DC) for recognizing the direction of rotation of the shutter or roller blind, a memory of EEPROM type (MI) for recording the direction of rotation of the motor instruction issued by the control point and a programmed processor for comparing the recognized direction of displacement with the instruction emanating from the control point.

  • Patent number: 5454077
Abstract: Installation comprising several receiving points and several transmitting points. A control installation especially useful for controlling the operation of roller blinds or shutters. The control installation has several receiving points (4), several transmitting points (1) and the relay points (2) are connected to a common BUS line so as to be able to intercommunicate. The transmitting points (1) are provided in order to transmit signals on the BUS line. Each signal is a frame formed of at least one identifying element and of at least one element defining an order to be executed by the receiver. A particular address code, to which the identifying element corresponds is assigned to each transmitting point. The relay points are equipped with a logic processing unit having memories which are provided in order to store at least one identifying element. The allocating of the address to the transmitter allows the control installation to exhibit very high flexibility.
