  • Publication number: 20190242341
Abstract: In at least some implementations, a fuel supply module includes a reservoir and a fuel pump carried by the reservoir. The reservoir may include a body and a lid that define an internal volume to contain a supply of fuel, and the reservoir may include an inlet through which fuel enters the internal volume and an outlet from which fuel is discharged from the fuel supply module. The fuel pump is carried by the reservoir and has a first inlet communicating with the internal volume to take fuel into the fuel pump from the internal volume and a second inlet spaced above the first inlet relative to the direction of the force of gravity to take fluid or vapors into the fuel pump from the internal volume. The fuel pump includes an outlet from which fluid is discharged for delivery to an engine through the reservoir outlet.

  • Patent number: 10314342
Abstract: The e-vaping device includes a housing, and a vaporizing heater within the housing. A cartridge within the device defines a reservoir containing a pre-vapor formulation. A chip on an end of the cartridge defines a via in fluid communication with the reservoir. The chip includes an ejector in fluid communication with the via, where the ejector is configured to eject droplets of the pre-vapor formulation towards the vaporizing heater. The method of making the device includes connecting a chip to an end of the cartridge, where the ejector ejects droplets of the pre-vapor formulation towards the vaporizing heater. The method of operating the device includes supplying a first electrical current to the vaporizing heater to energize the vaporizing heater and supplying a second electrical current to the ejector to energize the ejector and eject droplets of a pre-vapor formulation from the ejector towards the vaporizing heater.

  • Patent number: 6678005
Abstract: A method and system for notifying a viewer of the arrival or presence of one or more video input signals in a video display system, such as a personal computer (PC) or television (TV) system. If a video signal is already present, the system may optionally notify a viewer of the termination or absence of the video signal. The invention further provides the viewer with the opportunity to dynamically select the video source to view. Upon sensing the presence of a new video signal, the system alerts the viewer who may then select whether to view the new video signal or maintain prior viewing status.
