    Abstract: This disclosure is directed to medical systems and techniques for enhanced health monitoring using location information. In one example, a method performed by processing circuitry of a computing device is described. The method comprises: determining that a monitoring application, previously executed by the processing circuitry, is inoperative; receiving, from an input device of the computing device, input data indicative of a current location of a patient; determining whether the current location of the patient corresponds to an authenticated area of the patient; and in response to the determination that the current location corresponds to the authenticated area and to the determination that the monitoring application is inoperative, restarting the monitoring application.
