The method further includes receiving, at the security platform, a plurality of environmental datasets associated with the computing resources of the first entity and determining an alert level associated with a first threat indicator of the plurality of threat indicators based on the plurality of threat datasets and the plurality of environmental datasets. The method further includes generating, responsive to the alert level satisfying an alert threshold criterion, an alert associated with the first threat indicator for one or more users of the first entity.

Abstract: A system and method for identifying authorized job step programs. The process identifies a plurality of job step programs. It then identifies authorized program facility (APF) authorized programs from the plurality of job step programs. An output table of APF authorized program is generated. This table is used to submit at least one batch job using the output table. A list identifying which parameters in a parameter string contain an address for each APF program in the output table is generated. This list is then provided for program testing.

Abstract: Disclosed in this specification are methods, systems and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on non-transitory computer storage media for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flight operation and privacy controls. Based on geofence types, and UAV distance from a geofence, sensors and other devices connected to a UAV are conditionally operational. Image data collected during a UAV flight may be obfuscated by the UAV while in flight, or via a post-flight process using log data generated by the UAV.

Abstract: An interactive portrait system includes a camera configured to capture imagery of an environment and a controller. The controller is configured to analyze the imagery to identify a guest in the environment, instruct an output device to provide an initial output to attempt to interact with the guest, and analyze the imagery to identify a behavior of the guest during the initial output, after the initial output, or both. The controller is also configured to evaluate the behavior of the guest using one or more artificial intelligence algorithms to determine whether the guest responded to the initial output. The controller is further configured to, in response to determining that the guest responded to the initial output, instruct the output device to provide an additional output to continue to attempt to interact with the guest.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a computer-implemented method for diversifying an initial nucleic acid sequence encoding a protein with repeating amino acid sequences. The initial nucleic acid sequence comprises a plurality of contiguous stretches of nucleotides that are identical. The method may involve identifying in the nucleic acid sequence, a first contiguous stretch of nucleotides (nts) that is identical in sequence to a second contiguous stretch of nts and is longer than 14 nts; and replacing, in the 2nd contiguous stretch of nts, a codon encoding an amino acid with another codon encoding the same amino acid. The identifying and replacing is performed over the length of the nucleic acid sequence until there are no two contiguous stretches of nts that are identical in sequence and are longer than 14 nts.

Abstract: An internal combustion engine system is described herein. The system uses a mixer to mix two fuels to provide for a transition from using only one of the fuels to using only the other fuel as power demand changes. The output of the mixer is provided to the engine as a primary fuel. A controller opens and closes throttle valves to adjust the relative concentrations of a first fuel (e.g., diesel) and a second fuel (e.g., methanol) that enter the mixer. In some examples, rather than removing the desired performance and/or environmental benefits achieved by using the second fuel at power demand levels greater than the maximum achievable by only using the second fuel, the systems described herein allow the use of at least a portion of the second fuel in the primary fuel at those power demand levels.

The method includes receiving from a first global positioning system on a vehicle a first set of global positioning data indicative of a vehicle location. The method may also receive from a second global positioning system on a portable electronic device a second set of global positioning data indicative of a portable electronic device location. The method may also receive a set of location metadata associated with a picture. The method determines a residence location from the first set of global positioning data, the second set of global positioning data, or the set of location metadata. The method then associates the physical location to the address.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an improved open vertical display case (OVDC) which utilizes radiant cooling to cool and/or maintain food products at a target temperature. The radiant cooling is performed using a plurality of piping routed through the walls and containing a first refrigerant stream. The plurality of piping may be cooled using a refrigeration circuit. In some embodiments, a phase change material may be used for thermal energy storage and positioned between the plurality of piping and the refrigeration circuit. In some embodiments, the refrigeration circuit may be connected to heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and water heating systems within the building.

Abstract: A vehicle longitudinal motion control apparatus for controlling a longitudinal motion of a vehicle. The vehicle longitudinal motion control apparatus includes at least one sensor configured to sense a longitudinal motion of another vehicle which precedes the vehicle and a controller having at least one control module in communication with the at least one sensor. The at least one control module is configured to determine a longitudinal motion characteristic of both vehicles and a headway distance between the first vehicle and the second vehicle. The at least one control module is further configured to apply a coasting maneuver to the vehicle based upon the determined headway distance to reduce the distance between the vehicles and increase energy efficiency of the vehicle.

Abstract: A light polymerizable composition for use in the additive manufacturing of medical devices may include a first photo-initiator and a second photo-initiator. The first photo-initiator activates to initiate curing of the composition when exposed to light of a first wavelength in an additive manufacturing device and the second photo-initiator limits the transmission of the light of the first wavelength that activates the first photo-initiator in the additive manufacturing device. The second photo-initiator is activated to further cure the composition when exposed to a light of a second wavelength different from the first wavelength by activating the second photo-initiator to produce free radicals at a higher rate when exposed to the light of the second wavelength than when exposed to the light of the first wavelength.

The method may include detecting, at a first mobile computing device a condition corresponding to a potential crash of a vehicle. The method may also include operating a beacon receive mode in response to detecting the potential crash condition, and receiving data from a second mobile computing device operating in a beacon transmit mode, the data indicating that the second mobile computing device detected an actual crash condition of the vehicle. The method may further include confirming, based on the potential crash condition and the data received from the second mobile computing device, that the potential crash is an actual crash.

The system for generating the augmented machine view may include cameras mounted on the actual machine and machine sensors monitoring the position and movements of individual components of the machine.
